“It’s hard to fake that you’re ok when you are getting eaten up by demons every single day.”

— WARRIOR PATHH PARTICIPANT

Soldiers often struggle on the homefront.

“Very withdrawn, The anger issues were even worse.”

“I was creating more and more isolation.”

“I was really closed off.”

Warriors are masters of putting up walls and masking the stress and struggles of life. At the Big Red Barn Retreat, we understand their challenges and believe our Warriors want to conquer their personal battles and become a better version of themselves, despite not knowing how to get there. Warrior PATHH, a program created and studied by Boulder Crest Foundation, helps train our Warriors how to take struggle and grow from it, as opposed to suffering from it. Allowing our Warriors to learn how to struggle well in the aftermath of trauma gives them the opportunity to become the best version of themselves and live the life they desire.

What Is Warrior PATHH?

Warrior PATHH is a transformative, lifelong, posttraumatic growth-based, peer-based, training program for veterans, active duty military and first responders that relies on a variety of educational and experiential activities for the purpose of teaching life skills, increasing community integration and involvement, and promoting physical, emotional, relational, financial, and spiritual health.

The training begins with a 7-day on-site initiation that is followed by further training delivered by our instructors through the Struggle Well platform.
