Celebrating an Investment in Our Community
We are excited to announce that the Big Red Barn Retreat has been selected as a recipient of the iMPROve Health Enhancing Community Well-Being Grant!
This investment recognizes organizations committed to improving community health and well-being and will allow us to expand our impact through our Warrior PATHH program.
Grant funding will support two five-day, Level III Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) training cohorts at the Big Red Barn Retreat, including one male cohort and one female cohort. These immersive training experiences will equip veterans and first responders with resources and practices to help them turn struggle into strength and foster lasting personal growth.
“We are honored to receive this investment from iMPROve Health,” said Mitch Ray, BRBR Executive Director. “This grant allows us to offer our Level III training to more heroes and assist them on their journey from struggle to strength.”
Through this support, we can continue strengthening the well-being of our nation’s heroes while creating a positive ripple effect that extends to their families and communities.
“I was excited to visit The Big Red Barn Retreat and meet the leadership, staff, and participants in the program,” said Leland Babitch, MD, MBA, President & CEO at iMPROve Health. “We look forward to seeing the excellent work that the team there will do with our country’s veterans and first responders though their innovation, collaboration, and compassion.”
We are incredibly grateful to iMPROve Health for believing in our mission and investing in programs that help build healthier, stronger communities.
Thank you to our dedicated staff, volunteers, board members, partners, and supporters who make this life-changing work possible. Together, we are helping more heroes thrive!
