Kate Voigts

The Big Red Barn Retreat (BRBR) is pleased to announce Maj. Gen. (ret) Kate Voigts as its Interim Executive Director.  With over forty years of experience and leadership in the Army, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to our organization. 

In addition to her role at BRBR, Kate also works part-time for the RAND Corporation as a senior policy analyst and as a senior mentor with the Army War College. She is also an active volunteer, serving as a “red shirt” with Team Rubicon and as an ombudsman for the Department of Defense’s Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) office.

“I am looking forward to contributing to the impactful programs offered at the Big Red Barn Retreat, which enable our heroes to thrive and enjoy the exceptional lives they so deserve,” said Voigts.

With Kate’s leadership and passion for service, the BRBR remains committed to providing life-changing programs for veterans and first responders. We are excited for the journey ahead and look forward to the impact we will make together.
