IN-KIND CONTRIBUTIONS

In-kind contributions help charities reach their fundraising goals through non-monetary donations. These kinds of contributions, which may be small or large, are often assigned a financial value for the sake of tax, accounting and legal purposes. Goods or services offered free or at less than the usual charge result in an in-kind contribution. The donors of gifts-in-kind may be individuals or corporations.

Individuals often donate small in-kind gifts such as food supplies, blankets, clothing, books, art supplies or used furniture. Businesses often make in-kind contributions on a larger scale. For instance, a company might donate a vehicle, a refrigerator, or other equipment to a non-profit. An office supply chain might donate a piece of office equipment that the recipient or campaign can use. In-kind donations are valuable to the success of any charitable organization.

Here is the list of items needed for the Warrior PATHH program:

• Transport Vehicle: When participants arrive at the airport for Warrior PATHH or to transport participants to locations off-property, a multi-passenger vehicle is needed.
• Appliances for the Kitchens: a commercial, single glass door refrigerator
• Kayaks: 10-12 Kayaks are needed & a kayak transport trailer
• Archery: arrows, and other archery equipment- including free standing easels to hold targets
